Old-school natural history done well. Whale skeletons hang overhead, there are minerals and cabinets of curiosities, and the handsome 1860s university building is half the show. Don't rearrange a short trip for it. But if the weather turns, or you're already up on Nygårdshøyden, it's a rewarding hour.
