Ulriken is the serious one, higher and wilder than Fløyen. The cable car does the hard work, and the view takes in the whole city plus the fjords and islands beyond. Up top it's real mountain: rock, wind, weather. After Fløyen's groomed paths that comes as a pleasant shock. The famous Vidden ridge walk to Fløyen starts here. It's a real mountain hike of several hours, so treat it as one. The cable car shuts in bad weather, and this is Bergen, so that happens a lot.
