About

Dozens of wooden houses rescued from around Bergen and reassembled as a small town by the water north of Sandviken. The shops, parlours and workshops are done up in period style, and in high season costumed hosts act the place out. Charming, if not essential. Be warned that it's strictly a summer thing. Off season the buildings are locked and you're walking through an empty film set. In July with children, though, it makes a good half day.
